Beef

We raise pasture/grass fed beef cattle. Our stock is a mix of Angus, Charolais and Limousin and we have a closed herd, meaning no outside animals are brought in that may bring disease.  This means that we do not have to treat with antibiotics and we never use hormones.  Our beef is very lean and tastes wonderful.  We almost always have ground beef available.  If you are looking to purchase ¼, ½ or a whole cow, we take pre-orders and butcher 1 or 2 times per year.

Ground Beef: sold in 1 pound packages, $6 per pound

If you are interested in ¼, ½ or a whole cow, we price per pound on the hanging weight. We charge $4.75 per pound, hanging weight.  This price includes all cutting and wrapping.

Lamb

We raise Icelandic Sheep which have a triple purpose.  They are used for meat, fiber and milk.  At this time, we sell ground lamb and whole lamb.  All meat comes cut and packaged.  Our lamb is super tasty and is raised on pasture and hay.  We have recently purchased a couple of East Friesian lambs and will be trying out milk and cheese next Spring!!

Ground lamb: sold in 1 pound packages, $7 per pound

Whole freezer lamb: Price is $6 per pound, based on the hanging weight. Average hanging weight is 40-50 lbs. Price includes cutting and wrapping.

Sheep & Lamb

(live)

From time to time, we sell our live sheep to people looking to start their own herd.  They are sweet animals and are fun to raise.  You may even be looking for a live lawnmower!!  They are great for that purpose and are very easy to keep.  Sheep don’t need perfect pasture land; they happily eat brush, grasses, and weeds that grow in poor soil. You can easily raise 3 or 4 sheep on 1 acre. Check out pictures and prices of our individual lambs for sale
